5 Steps to a Simple Homepage.

1. Find source of inspiration

2. Copy styles

3. Add profile section

4. Add link sections

5. Add footer

And you're done! 👇

No more difficult settings, just set your styles & add the content.

LFB lets you take the shortest route to a working website, so you can share it with your audience in record time.

Pro Results without Going to Design School.

Most builders seem to assume you know where to place your content:

LFB, on the other hand, takes care of nitty gritty details so you don't have to.

See how LFB sets the spacing between the content blocks automatically?

Pro Planning without Going to Design School.

LFB helps you plan your styles the professional way:

Setting your page styles from the outset, instead of doing it one by one

Planning your styles at the start reduces inconsistencies and saves you time from having to set styles every time.

⅓ Your Website Time.

Designing for phones + tablets + desktops is a luxury for professional designers.

As a business owner, you've too many responsibilities to chase design perfection.

That's why LFB proposes the single layout website.

  1. Ensures websites are optimized for your main audience.
  2. Cuts your website time by ⅔— no more testing/ designing/ debugging for 3 screen sizes.

Loss to customers? Almost nothing.

Gain to you? Hours shaved you can use for other aspects of your business.

Also simpler to maintain if 1 layout.

Focusing You on What Matters, Now.

Most builders presume you need a huge website, forcing you to deal with complex settings & decisions.

LFB is different—it encourages you to build 1 page at a time, when the need arises.

Stop wasting precious entrepreneurial hours on what you may not need.

IMO, a product page & a privacy policy page that explains data collection is good enough for a start.

For The Owner Who Thinks Long Term.

Pay Once, Use Forever.

One less subscription/fixed cost.

LFB is NOT another subscription-based builder.

Instead, you pay for it once, then enjoy using it for as long as you want—the way software should be.

Long-Term Investment.

Think of LFB as an equipment you invest in for your online business.

Given that LFB costs $49, if you use it for 3 years, that's:

$49 ➗ 36 months = $1.36/mo.

A highly cost-effective investment, if you ask me.

Lower Long-Term Costs.

Subscription-based builders are often more expensive than building your website & hosting it separately:

Average Website Builder Basic Hosting (Own Website)
Monthly Fees over 3 Yrs1 $162 x 36 =
$576
$73 x 36 =
$252
Domain Costs over 3 Yrs $20 x 24 =
$40
$20 x 3 =
$60
Web Design Costs $0
(comes with platform)
$49
(one-time cost of LFB)
Total Costs $616 $351

1 Why 3 years? It's often said to be the make-or-break period for businesses.
2 Taking Wix's cheapest plan as an example
3 Hosting can be free even, but I'm using Dreamhost's cheapest plan as example.
4 Builders often offer the first year's domain free, if you pay for the full year.

👉 Choosing to build your website with LFB, then host it elsewhere saves you $255 over 3 years. Imagine the cost savings over 10, 20 years of your business.

Know that you're creative, but lack the technical expertise to express it with your website?

LFB comes with an ever-growing number of creative components that makes getting creative easier than ever.

Mix & Match Your One-and-Only Site.

LFB does NOT have templates, for these reasons:

LFB proposes the use of blocks & sections instead:

Think of them like Lego blocks: each has its distinct purpose, but how you mix n' match them is what makes your webpage unique.

Own Your Content.

LFB is a hybrid builder.

  1. build webpage with LFB's codeless builder
  2. download its HTML code

This puts control back in your hands—when you keep your files, folders, & code, you own them.

If I discontinue LFB? Won't take your website away.

If your provider 2x your rent? Just upload the same files to a new host.

The LFB philosophy: don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Enjoy best of both worlds: UI & code.

What does "LFB" stand for?

LFB stands for "LONG FLAT BOX"—it's my way of reminding ourselves: don't overthink it.

At the end of the day, a webpage is just a long, 2-dimensional box you add content to. So don't let them tell you "it's not for amateurs".

For the Owner who wants a partner, not a tool.

A savvy business owner knows that a productive tool is good, but a long-term partnership is better.

With LFB, I strive to provide you just that.

Walking the Talk.

I use LFB for all my webpages.

In fact, it's used on every page I've build since 2024, including this page you're reading.

When choosing a tool, you want its creator to believe in it more than you do.

Always growing as designer.

When looking for a professional partner, you want someone who's constantly improving himself.

That's me.

I'm always looking for interesting inspirations from typography to architecture, and when I find something useful, I add it to LFB.

Growing Together with You.

LFB is also beyond just a tool built by me, for you.

Rather, I envision it as a tool that grows with its users:

In short: LFB is not just a tool, but a long-term design partner that grows with your business.

^ As the creator of LFB, I do retain the right to reject blocks that may not prove helpful to all LFB users.

Questions & Answers.

Does LFB host my website?

No—1 of the key principles LFB advocates is "never put all your eggs in one basket."

By treating LFB as just a website building tool, and having a separate hosting provider host your website, you're spreading your risks & reducing dependence on one vendor.

Another insider fact: it's precisely because LFB doesn't host your website that it is able to stay "pay once, use forever".

What are the payment methods supported?

LFB uses Stripe as its payment gateway.

This means that any payment method suported by Stripe will be supported (most major credit cards should be supported). As this will differ depending on your region, it's hard to advise accuratelt. On the LFB checkout page, though, you'll be able to see the available payment methods.

About Me.

For 14 years, I've been a web designer: both as a freelancer and as employees for SMEs and MNCs.

In May 2024, I finally decided to take the leap and play a part in making the Internet more ethical & creative. LFB is a first step in that direction.
